Engineering Emporium

A friend and I started Engineering Emporium™ in college to get younger students interested in engineering. We began by selling our kits to teachers at schools around the country. The kits create chain reactions, popularly known as Rube Goldberg Machines.

Engineering Emporium sponsored this video. Now, this video has 960,000 views.

Finding new target markets.

The Youtube video above helped us find new target markets. After the video blew up, CNN posted the video. I then noticed I was getting orders from companies. I contacted the companies to ask why they were using our kits. It turns out they were using them for team building. We then started marketing more toward companies.

I created five free worksheets for grade school to high school so teachers could use the engineering kits in their classrooms to fit their strict curriculum guidelines.
