Banking App Feature Change

Key Finding: “The scanning feature doesn’t make sense.”

From our research, the scannability feature was not innately understood, which meant that the way it looked was going to be something that needed to be changed significantly. More one-on-one sessions were held in which we found creating the scanning feature as a picture helped the users better understand the app.

Key Finding: “The scanning feature doesn’t make sense.”

I conducted an unmoderated research session with 28 participants using the prototype I created above. From our research, you can see that the scannability feature was not innately understood, which meant that the way it looked was going to be something that needed to be changed significantly. More one-on-one sessions were held to make the necessary changes.

KPI iteration based on data to optimize for conversion. The hypothesis gathered from the research was that over 50% of users needed help understanding the scan feature. Therefore, I needed to make this CTA more straightforward. Improving the call-to-action will increase the number of users successfully bidding on art.

Impact Overview

After creating this app, we have a starting path of where this app can take us. Because of this research and ideation process, we can now fine-tune this idea into something more feasible and workable.
